| Several years ago I was given a chance to leave my world behind and travel alone to Europe. During my six month journey, I was inspired by Gaudi in Barcelona, by the splendid ancient mosaics in Greece and Italy and by the modern work in England. When I returned home to the United States I became a self taught Mosaic Artist. My art has since been collected in New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland, Florida and Oregon. As the mosaic art in Europe was an inspiration to me, I hope to bring inspiration and pleasure to the people who view and appreciate my work. I have found in mosaic art a sense of peace and a purpose in life. |
